Before we get into the nitty-gritty of the individual platforms, let’s review what we covered:


  1. First we learned that digital marketing is a way of presenting information in a digital format in order to generate interest in your products and services.
  2. Next we talked about the 3 cornerstones of digital marketing: website, social media and email marketing. We learned the function of each of these platforms and how they can assist us.
  3. Finally we looked at how to make your digital marketing effective across all categories. We learned about: Know, Like and Trust factors; the concept of providing value by being useful, how being human and telling stories within your interactions are so important.
In the next component, we’ll be looking more closely at the role of the website in terms of your digital marketing strategy.
